We’re looking for an Order Consultant to handle preorders at our Park Road Shopping Center location—guiding customers through options, locking in details, and making sure what gets promised is exactly what gets made. It’s part customer service, part logistics, part mind-reading. What you’ll do Answer calls and emails for cake and dessert preorders Help customers choose flavors, sizes, and designs Translate customer ideas into clear, accurate orders our kitchen can execute Confirm availability, collect payment, and finalize orders Keep things organized and on schedule so production runs smoothly Work closely with the team to avoid surprises, miscommunications, and chaos Help in-store guests as needed What we’re looking for Friendly, confident communicator (you can lead a conversation, not just react to one) Detail‑obsessed in a good way Calm under pressure and high volume Quick learner with solid computer skills Bakery/food experience is great, but not required The vibe Fast‑paced but not frantic Clear, direct, confident communication We care about doing things right—and doing them efficiently Schedule & details Full-time or part‑time Weekends required (that’s when the cakes happen) Average starting pay is ~$16-17/hour (base hourly plus shared tips) If you like helping people, staying organized, and being the reason someone’s birthday/wedding/Tuesday cake actually turns out right, you’ll probably like it here. #J-18808-Ljbffr Suárez Bakery
