Job Description
The Harry S. Truman VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time, BC, Neurologist to serve as a member of its Team in Columbia, MO. Candidates must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and exceptional health of our veterans. Columbia is the site of internationally renowned "Roots N Blues N BBQ" annual music festival, the "True False" documentary film festival, and also hosts numerous arts, theater, and music events throughout the year. Centralized location offers quick access to St. Louis and Kansas City, as well as the State Capitol, Jefferson City, and the beautiful vacation getaway, Lake of the Ozarks. We average 25 Collegiate sporting events monthly, with easy access to professional sports in nearby St Louis and Kansas City, we’ve got something for you and your family to discover.
We offer:
- Predictable work schedules and a focus on quality rather than volume
- Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year
- Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
- Malpractice: Liability protection with tail coverage provided
- 26 days paid vacation; 13 days paid sick time per year w/unlimited carry over; 11 paid holidays
- Federal pension (5 years vesting) and separate 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
- Possible 5 days and up to $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME’s (must be full-time with board certification)
- This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), if approved
- Recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized for highly qualified candidates
