Position: Site Manager (SUT) Type: Full-Time Location: Fort Bragg, NC Travel: 10% Position Summary Serve as the Site Manager for Small Unit Tactics and Special Forces Assessment and Selection training, providing direct support to Special Forces students during their qualification course and assisting SFAS candidates throughout their selection process. Coordinate and manage all training requirements in collaboration with 4th Battalion and 1st Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne). Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all personnel performing work under this contract possess and maintain current Information Assurance Technician Level I professional certification Brief all employees on the local iWATCH program (training standards provided by the requiring activity Anti-Terrorism Officer) Exercise command and control over all role players Attend daily OPCEN coordination meetings throughout dates listed for exercises Coordinate upcoming exercises and attend coordination meetings as necessary Provide requested number of role players based on exercise requirements Conduct/participate in AAR’s as necessary Conduct training in a field environment Comply with all federal, state, local, and safety regulations Assist with role player train up along with conducting area familiarization Required Skills and Abilities U.S. citizenship/residency Possess SECRET security clearance Must have a valid driver’s license Shall be ex-Special Forces Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of Sergeant First Class or higher, Warrant or Commissioned Officers who are subject matter experts on all aspects of unconventional warfare (UW) A favorable background (NACLAC) check is required Read, write, speak, and understand the English language Familiar with military work environments, protocols, and jargon Ability to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds in verbal and written forms Troubleshoot issues as they arise Great attention to detail Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work under pressure May be required to work overtime, nights, and weekends to meet training requirements Be in good health and cleared by a medical physician via a physical examination Able to withstand physical rigor associated within the instruction and evaluation environment, including but not limited to standing for long periods of time, manipulating objects with hands/fingers which require finite dexterity, sound detection by ear, stooping, and/or kneeling Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions Ability to move/carry at least 50 lbs Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to be the best qualified for the position and successfully perform the functions of the job.
