Job Summary:

The Technician I – Manufacturing) is responsible for supporting production activities by following established work instructions and utilizing laboratory equipment to process products. This role involves making decisions regarding production flow, performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensuring laboratory cleanliness and decontamination procedures are completed in accordance with established standards and Maintenance Connection software requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use work instructions and production aids to determine the appropriate production flow based on product type or services
• Operate a variety of laboratory equipment to process products
• Perform limited equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Execute laboratory cleaning and decontamination procedures according to work instructions
• Utilize Maintenance Connection software to support cleaning and maintenance activities
• Maintain compliance with established production and laboratory procedures
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of products

Required Skills:

• Ability to follow work instructions and established procedures
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills
• Experience working with laboratory equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong computer and PC software skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to make decisions regarding production flow
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Previous laboratory experience
• Chemical handling experience
• Familiarity with laboratory processes and procedures

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Associate degree preferred
