Electrician - Industrial

Industrial Electricians earn from $40 to $45 per hour We train and promote from within Excellent low-cost health benefits Retirement plan with employer-paid contributions Paid vacation and 10 holidays About the Position Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facilities Maintain all components required to control machinery, including switches, sensors, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and interface units Recognize and effectively identify hazards and correct electrical defects Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment Inspect and maintain motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, and lighting Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations Install electrical conduit and pull wire Maintain efficiency and safety of all plant electrical circuits, assemblies, and equipment Troubleshoot and install encoders, linear transducers, vision systems, and other advanced sensors Identify and help implement process improvements to optimize performance and production Effectively troubleshoot issues for best resolution while staying calm in stressful situations Communicate effectively, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area Work may include overtime during busy production times Qualifications At least 2 years of recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education Understanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three‑phase power, conduit installation, lighting, and hydraulic systems Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming is preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams Benefits Health benefits plan (medical, dental, and vision) with low‑cost premiums 401(k) with company match and additional retirement contributions Company‑paid life insurance Paid vacation and 10 holidays per year Opportunity for career advancement through training and internal promotion Sierra Pacific is an (EOE) Equal Opportunity Employer, including those with a disability and veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sierra Pacific Industries
