Information Technology Help Desk Manager

A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Manager to lead its end-user technology support function in New York City. This is a highly visible position combining team leadership, technical support, and white-glove service within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of desktop support professionals.
Oversee day-to-day end-user support and service delivery.
Manage escalations and ensure a high level of support for business users and executives.
Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve service and processes.
Oversee end-user devices, technology assets, and workplace technology.
Partner with broader IT teams on technology projects and rollouts.

Qualifications

Strong background in desktop/deskside support, including team leadership experience.
Experience supporting users within financial services or another high-touch professional environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, ITSM/ticketing platforms, mobile devices, and conferencing tools.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proven ability to lead a customer-focused technical support team.
