Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment options
• Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Administer local anesthetic
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current California Dental Hygienist License in good standing
• CPR certification (required)
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
