Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced registered nurses for endoscopy/GI procedures within a hospital setting. Candidates will perform advanced procedures and provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate during endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedure efficiency.
• Perform advanced interventions such as ERCP and EUS with proficiency.
• Operate specialized equipment including Olympus scopes, ION robot, and related devices.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in Meditech Expanse and Provation systems.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including unit secretaries and technologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to adjacent facilities as needed, maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of relevant experience in endoscopy or GI procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform advanced procedures like ERCP, EUS, and robotic bronchoscopy.
• Possess certification in basic life support (BLS) and any additional GI-specific credentials.
• Exhibit strong technical skills and clinical judgment in a high-volume environment.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
