As a Security Officer Community Patrol in Aurora, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach while working with integrity and teamwork in a dynamic setting that values agile and innovative professionals.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, deliveries, and contractors, following site access procedures and verifying credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery information as directed by location policies.
• Support security-related operations by observing equipment yards, loading and receiving areas, and other high-traffic spaces, while communicating clearly with site personnel regarding incidents, policy concerns, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
