Job Summary:

This position involves staging product for packaging along each line: boxes, packaging, storage of finished product. It anticipates the lines needs to continue the packaging process according to the production schedules. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Scheduling Responsibilities including understanding what each line is scheduled to run, staging, remove supplies to storage, place finished product in cooler
• Operation of and certification for forklift and pallet jack operation
• Inventory knowledge of packaging supplies
• Strict adherence to GMPs;  Keep area clean 
• Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management
  • Accurate recordkeeping

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Moderately strenuous work involving standing, walking with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting; Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally kneeling to inspect and clean equipment and use of ladders
• Fast-paced clean environment; frequently cool, wet, and moderate noise along with working with chemicals

Monday - Friday, OT as required
6:00am - 4:30pm
