Job Title: Diabetic Nurse Educator – Maternal Child
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $41.00 – $65.00/hour

Position Summary:
Seeking a Diabetic Nurse Educator to provide diabetes education and support to patients and families. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing education plans, delivering individual/group education sessions, and promoting effective diabetes self-management.

Responsibilities:

Provide diabetes education on nutrition, medications, glucose monitoring, and lifestyle management.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized education plans.
Conduct one-on-one and group education sessions.
Document education and patient outcomes in EMR.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to support quality patient care.

Requirements:

Active RN license (Nevada preferred/required).
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
3+ years of hospital clinical nursing experience.
1+ year of diabetes educator experience.
CDCES certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
BLS certification (AHA).
