To support increased patient volume and streamline billing processes, the team is seeking two experienced Patient Account Representatives to join their Centralized Business Office (CBO) in Bethesda, MD.Job Description: The Patient Account Representative will be responsible for handling patient billing inquiries, managing high call and email volume, and resolving insurance and payment issues. This position is fully on-site and requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Manage inbound calls and voicemails related to billing questionsRespond to patient emails and escalate complex inquiries as neededIdentify and resolve payment and adjustment discrepanciesInterpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and communicate findings to patientsCollaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate billingMaintain professionalism and empathy when assisting upset patientsAdapt to ongoing workflow changes as part of a team-driven environmentQualifications:2+ years of revenue cycle or medical billing experienceStrong understanding of EOBs, insurance benefits, and billing workflowsExperience handling high call volumes and patient-facing follow-upBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredHigh school diploma or GED required (documentation must be provided)Strong team player with the ability to work independentlyPositive attitude, flexibility, and professionalism requiredAdditional Details:Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pmParking: On-site parking available (car recommended)Compliance: Background check and drug screen requiredDress Code: Business / Business CasualPerks:Opportunity to join a respected, high-volume medical practiceWork in a collaborative environment during a time of positive changeExposure to complex revenue cycle operations and healthcare systemsPossibility of long-term hire based on performanceDental, Vision, Medical, 401(k)Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
