Shipping & Inventory Control Clerk

SeeScan is seeking a Shipping & Inventory Control Clerk to support the smooth flow of material both within our facilities and to and from our outside partners. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where your reliability and attention to detail will directly impact multiple departments. This position pays $20/hour or more, depending on experience and qualifications.

In this position, you will:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and process receipts in our ERP system
• Process domestic and international outgoing shipments, including documentation, labeling, and compliance requirements (EEI filing, commercial invoices, HTS/Schedule B codes, free trade forms)
• Verify sales order packing lists and pick orders
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock replenishment
• Organize and maintain stockroom layout for accessibility and accuracy
• Load and unload trucks; drive company vehicles for local pickups and deliveries
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Coordinate material movement between facilities as needed
• Support backlog reduction during peak periods across both areas

About you:

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and a self-motivated work style
• Strong problem-solving skills with effective verbal and written communication
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal liability insurance in your name

Your background:

• Experience supporting domestic and international shipments in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with international shipping documents and processes (EEI, commercial invoices, SLIs, packing lists, HTS/Schedule B codes)
• Experience receiving material and entering data in an ERP system (Microsoft AX preferred)
• Stockroom and inventory experience, ideally in an MRP/ERP environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional desired abilities:

• Forklift experience or certification
• Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck
