The individual will oversee all aspects of the project, including bidding, managing contracts and subcontracts, scheduling, permitting, monitoring submittals and RFIs, customer billing, project closeout, and managing documentation on Procore, among other duties. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of groups, including co-workers, owner representatives, vendors, office personnel, and subcontractors.ResponsibilitiesMaintain relationships with current customers while identifying and securing new customers.Represent HCG in preconstruction activities in order to secure work.Manage and complete pricing exercises for customers including budgetary estimates, negotiated proposals and hard bids.Accurately set up project budgets and schedules.Manage and complete accurate subcontract agreements.Visit projects regularly to provide input into means, methods, schedule as well as meeting with the owner and design team.Collaborate with project superintendents, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver successful projects.Provide solutions for customers while maintaining profitability.Ensure projects comply with all safety standards and codes, as well as legal requirements.RequirementsFive years of experience in project management preferred.Previous experience estimating projects.Understanding of code compliance and quality control.Strong attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Project.Experience with the creation of schedules and schedule updates.Willingness to learn new programs and systems.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
