Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a collaborative team. You will utilize telehealth technology to connect with students and families, conducting assessments and therapy sessions via secure video platforms. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends based on the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, integrating evaluation tools and observation to gain a complete understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize emotional well-being and academic success, continuously updating these plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for various conditions, utilizing approaches that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, or other modalities appropriate for the age and needs of the students.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help students improve emotional regulation, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a range of professionals—teachers, therapists, and specialists—to create a supportive network that addresses comprehensive student needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, drawing on your training to guide students and families through challenging times.

• Provide psychoeducational resources for students and families, enhancing their understanding of mental health and available community resources.
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and development activities to promote continuous improvement in services provided.

• Stay informed about current mental health regulations and best practices to ensure ethical and effective service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents with a variety of special needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and those who have experienced trauma. You will engage with students in a warm and understanding manner, tailoring your approach to meet theirindividual needs. Your work will contribute to their overall development and integration into the school community, enhancing both their educational experience and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in mental health theories and practices.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Proficient in individual and group therapy delivery.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and a capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably within educational environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
