Occupational Therapist / OT - Full-Time

Overview Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time Neuro Home & Community program focused on real-life function – not clinic-based limitations. As an OT you will help patients rebuild independence in daily routines, cognition, safety, and participation in everyday life. You will work directly in patients’ homes and community environments, where meaningful recovery happens. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, meaningful patient relationships, and functional outcomes without overwhelming productivity pressure. Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences. Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety. Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service receiver and family. Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted license in the state where practicing. Current CPR Certification. Minimum one year of work experience as an OT. Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred. Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting, or transferring patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Requirements of fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods. Physical demands: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, positioning frequently. May need to pass a health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter. Salary Range USD $90,000.00 / Year #J-18808-Ljbffr
