CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerCoWorx is seeking a CNC Programmer in the Charlestown, NH area! The CNC Programmer is an independent role responsible for CNC programming, process development, and optimization of CNC manufacturing operations. This position works with a variety of CNC equipment including mills and lathes, uses CAD software and tooling applications.Responsibilities:Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tasksPrograms, sets up, and operates a variety of CNC equipmentApplies skills to perform functions of the position within assigned areaAdapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the positionMay rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish some assigned tasks and goalsResolves most questions and problems, may serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levelsMay orient, train, assign and check the work of other employeesUses computer-aided software such as CAM/SolidWorksUnderstanding orders of operationWrites the formulas necessary to program mills and lathes using CAM softwareMaintains constant communications with Production and Leadership teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsDocuments actions by completing production and quality logsReduces set-up times and decreases cycle times for maximum efficiencyDesigns and develops process aids and fixturesDesired Background/Skills:High School w/3-6+ years' experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/1-3 years' experienceHas developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and on-the-job experienceCompletes a variety of atypical assignmentsWorks within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignmentsWorks with a limited degree of supervisionActs as an informal resource for colleagues with less experienceAble to lift up to 35 poundsAble to stand for entire shiftRegularly performs repetitive tasksRegularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accuratelySpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusDon't miss out on this excellent opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive team- apply with us today to get started!
