Industrial Hygienist

Job TitleJob DescriptionPlan and conduct workplace surveys to identify, measure, and control hazardous chemical, physical, and biological exposures, logging findings into the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health readiness System (DOEHRS) database.Manage the Respiratory Protection Program by conducting fit testing, training personnel, maintaining equipment, and handling hazardous materials during accident investigations.Provide expert occupational health consultation to department leadership, interpreting toxicological data and advising on complex health risks across industrial processes.Develop and deliver comprehensive industrial hygiene training programs covering personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, hearing conservation, and toxin safety.Perform building walk-through to evaluate work practices, investigate hazards with specialized equipment, and generate technical reports detailing required corrective actions.
