Location: Orion Building - 6630 Orion Drive Fort Myers FL 33912 Department: LPG RN Nurse Triage Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/7:45:00AM to 6:15:00PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour Summary Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN to join their Phone Triage Team in Fort Myers . This is a full time position. We are seeking an RN with a mixed clinical history within outpatient/primary care, home health, triage and critical care nursing to handle the wide variety of calls to best serve our patients. 3 years of nursing experience is required Potential to be a hybrid position once clinical competency has been demonstrated Must live within driving distance to the office Weekends and Holidays are rotated Completes a detailed clinical assessment via telephone to identify the urgency and nature of the patients condition and coordinates the appropriate disposition to receive healthcare. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process and Evidence-Based decision support tools. Makes complex decisions based on nursing assessment, effective listening, critical thinking, advanced assessment and communication skills are essential. In addition to patient triage, the RN will facilitate other care delivery and self-care advice as the situation warrants. Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred. 3 years nursing experience in emergency medicine, medical surgical, case management, ICU, urgent care, Outpatient clinics, ambulatory care sites, or physician office experience required. Formal or informal telephone nursing preferred.
