Barista / Bartender – Isla & Co. (Lower East Side)
Parched Hospitality Group’s latest restaurant concept, Isla & Co., is an upscale, Australian-inspired café serving specialty coffee and brunch by day, and a seasonally curated cocktail and dinner program by night. Our newest location in the Lower East Side is seeking enthusiastic, energetic Barista/Bartenders to join our team.
This is a hybrid role ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in both coffee and cocktail environments. Our Barista/Bartenders are true “jack-of-all-trades”—able to craft exceptional espresso drinks in the morning, execute high-quality cocktails in the evening, and deliver warm, engaging service throughout.
What You’ll Do:- Prepare and serve a full range of espresso-based beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, etc.) with precision and consistency
- Dial in espresso and maintain coffee quality standards, including latte art
- Craft classic and seasonal cocktails with strong knowledge of mixology and spirits
- Provide wine and beverage recommendations to complement guest experiences
- Greet and engage guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of both bar and coffee stations, including equipment care and sanitation
- Support the service floor as needed (taking orders, running drinks/food, assisting team)
- Execute opening/closing duties and assist with prep across both coffee and bar programs
- 2+ years of specialty coffee experience in a high-volume environment
- 3+ years of bartending experience in an elevated, high-volume setting
- Strong knowledge of espresso techniques, classic cocktails, and major spirit categories
- Basic understanding of wine styles
- Ability to multitask and transition between day and night service seamlessly
- A positive attitude, team-first mentality, and strong communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
