Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling and is ideal for a motivated clinician who values autonomy and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical function, mobility, strength, and range of motion
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders
• Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and recovery strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
• Current Texas Physical Therapist license (or eligibility)
• Strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred

Employment Type

• Per Diem: Flexible, as-needed scheduling based on facility needs
• The starting hourly rate is $55.00 with adjustments made in accordance with the candidate's experience level
