The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for the onboarding of all new patients across our four offices, performing duties including patient portal activation, referral coordination, medical records retrieval, and appointment confirmation to ensure incoming patients are prepared for their initial consultation.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for incoming patients, checking their completion of onboarding tasks, and reaching out to provide instruction as required. The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for identifying and communicating with patients to resolve questions about insurance eligibility or any other issue that may prevent the successful completion of the patient's initial consultation. This position is also responsible for managing the practice's new patient Wait List, to ensure available appointment slots are always filled.

The New Patient Coordinator also participates in reaching out to referred patients to schedule their consultations, and reviews benefits information for scheduled patients to assist in preparing their initial Financial Estimate. As requested, this role may assist with gathering data for management reporting related to new patient volume and outcomes.

Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years experience in a medical private practice, including front desk, patient scheduling, and referral coordination experience.
