Lead Accountant

Adecco is recruiting for a Lead Accountant to join a well‐established and growing real estate investment and development company based in St. Clair Shores, MI . About the Role: This position is ideal for someone ready to step into a leadership capacity—overseeing partnership‑level accounting, supporting staff accountants, and driving consistency across multiple real estate entities. You’ll work closely with company leadership and play an active role in process improvement, reporting, and mentoring within the accounting team. What You’ll Do: Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities across multiple real estate partnerships Review monthly and annual financials, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with tax filings, audits, and various property‑level reporting projects Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and systems enhancements Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants Who You Are: We’re looking for a motivated accounting professional with a strong mix of technical skill and business sense. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, improving processes, and mentoring others while keeping a sharp eye on financial accuracy.
