Your Role Awaits

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering tests, and developing customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, either independently or in collaboration with other healthcare providers
• Instructing patients and their families regarding wellness, disease prevention, and health management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your authorized scope

Educational Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensing Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (or ability to obtain within three months)
