Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) The Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Requirements Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of residency Current CPR certification At least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing setting (preferred) Responsibilities Create, administer, and organize individualized plans of treatment for patients. Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading, and voice improvement. Educate patients and family members about communication techniques and strategies to cope with or avoid personal misunderstandings. Communicate with the dietary department regarding rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
