Job Details

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and daily life skills
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to facilitate continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications Needed

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is required
