Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianThe position involves safely repairing, constructing, and servicing electronic and electrical machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, interpreting diagrams, planning workflows, and designing component adaptations. The electrician is also tasked with mechanical repairs, maintaining communication wiring and power distribution systems, and ensuring a clean work environment. Additional duties include reporting errors, maintaining performance records, and performing other assigned tasks as needed.Location: On-site in Mt. Vernon, INRequired Qualifications: A two-year technical certification, (Significantly directly related work experience or military training can substitute for trade school training), along with a minimum of two years experience in a comparable manufacturing environment. Must pass quality control testing, as required. Must be able to climb to any height, work in confined spaces, and routinely life 40 lbs. Must qualify to use cartridge type respirator. Must furnish adequate personal tools to properly perform required duties. Applicants selected for this position must comply with all safety and plant rules, regulations and practices and must attend training classes, as required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
