Organization Histopathology - 3rd Shift Job Summary Prepares tissue specimens for microscopic examinations within the Dept of Anatomic Pathology with occasional guidance. Performs equipment maintenance, maintains departmental records, and adequate supplies. Responsible for high volume workload and stat requests. Key Responsibilities Completes daily workload as assigned to include embedding, cutting, and staining tissue specimens. Performs and documents routine maintenance; maintains departmental records as assigned. Maintains department supplies at acceptable levels. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results.
