Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a production team member, you will be responsible for driving a tugger and transporting materials to ensure the production line is continuously supplied. Your role involves moving raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods, as well as maintaining packaging and dunnage to support a smooth workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires safe operation of equipment, basic problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tugger to transport materials to the production line.
• Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Maintain packaging and dunnage to ensure smooth workflow.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Solve basic problems as they arise.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and manufacturing.
• Ability to operate computerized equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing in the automotive industry is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is partially climate-controlled, providing comfort while you work in a manufacturing setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, TN.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Morristown,TN.
