Overview
Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Team Member and become the welcoming face of our dynamic food service environment! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing friendly service, managing food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. Whether you're assisting with food preparation or operating POS systems, your contribution is essential to our fast-paced, customer-focused operation.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Manage cash register transactions, process payments, and handle cash handling responsibilities with precision
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the workspace, including food handling areas and dining spaces
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to uphold health standards
- Support retail sales transactions if applicable, including product recommendations and customer engagement
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash register operations is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing payments, giving change, and managing sales totals
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
