About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ICU experience, CRRT experience, Balloon Pump experience, holiday availability, every other weekend availability Description: The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team. The RN is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. The RN will assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques. The assessment will include obtaining past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. The RN will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician. All RN candidates must have ICU experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is required. CRRT experience is required. Balloon Pump experience is required. Holiday availability is required. Every other weekend availability is required. Floating to Progressive Care may be needed. Candidates must possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
