Flexo Press Operator - 3rd shift

Flexo Press Operator 3rd shift Sun. - Thur. 9:45 pm - 6:00 am Initial 2 weeks training completed on 1st shift Mon. - Fri. 5:45 am - 2:00 pm Responsibilities Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Report safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments. Complete make‑ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used. Responsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Complete all press‑side quality checks. Operate press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency. Maintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion; ensure conformance to all other quality checks. Responsible for completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard. Complete press make‑ready in an efficient manner. Complete all required equipment maintenance duties. Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricate press as needed. Input all required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training. Physical Demands Requires standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reaching with arms and hands; talking and hearing. Frequently walking. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Benefits Competitive compensation: base hourly rate (based upon experience) plus a $1.50 shift differential once you complete an estimated 1st shift 2‑week training and move to 3rd shift.
