Travel Therapy - Physical Therapist

Overview MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Las Vegas, Nevada. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with graduation from an accredited school. Pass the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTEN). Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively in the application process for licensure. Other requirements to be determined by the client facility. Responsibilities Assess referred patients who require rehabilitation services. Provide direct patient care, evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance, under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Offer skilled physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for care, evaluate outcomes, and modify treatment to meet therapy goals.
