Event Coordinator

A well-established organization is seeking an Education & Events Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute educational programs and events. This position will work closely with internal teams, external partners, speakers, educators, and other key stakeholders to ensure events are well-organized, engaging, and successful. The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive professional with strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience coordinating events from planning through execution. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate educational events, including venue selection, scheduling, logistics, and on-site execution. Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to establish event objectives and coordinate deliverables. Develop and manage event budgets while identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Coordinate event marketing and promotional efforts through digital channels, email communications, and printed materials. Coordinate with speakers, educators, and industry professionals to secure participation and manage event-related needs. Oversee attendee registration, confirmations, communications, and post-event follow-up. Manage on-site event logistics, including audiovisual setup, catering, materials, and attendee support. Coordinate shipment of educational materials, brochures, supplies, and other resources to event locations. Collect and analyze attendee feedback and event results to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure events are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, Communications, or a related field. 3+ years of event planning or event coordination experience. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM and event management platforms. Experience with business management or enterprise resource planning systems is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience coordinating educational programs, professional events, conferences, or training programs. Experience working with sales teams or other field-based teams. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and promotional campaigns. Experience coordinating events involving hands-on activities, demonstrations, or interactive learning. This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities. The role requires the ability to: Sit, stand, walk, communicate, and work at a computer for extended periods. Perform tasks requiring hand and finger dexterity. Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Travel to event locations as needed. Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
