You will work independently across organizations; manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets; assign and manage represented EMS Operators to maximize efficiency and achieve target productive yields; implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule; and perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operators, test techs, and/or M&P Specialist.4th Shift – 7am-7pm (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Only)What You’ll Get to Do:Provide directions to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policiesDrive employee efficiencyMeet product cost and schedule targetsManage the area to produce quality productsEngage employees to achieve their highest potentialImplement process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule.Perform required SAP/MES transactionsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment; High School Diploma or GED with 9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degreeExperience leading and/or managing people and/or projectsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security ClearanceU.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications:Active U.S. Government Secret Level Security ClearanceExperience with SAP/MESExperience with ISO, 5S, CI, and problem-solving methodologiesPrior experience working in a represented (union) environmentNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
