Spray Technician

Spray TechnicianAs a Spray Technician, you will perform HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations according to customer requirements and job folder specifications. You will ensure the area of the part to be masked, cleaned, and coated aligns with the job folder, and confirm all pre-coating requirements have been completed. In-process inspection procedures will be followed to ensure operations meet customer and technical plan requirements, and you will accurately record and sign off on all applicable data as defined in the job folder.ResponsibilitiesPerform HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations.Review job folder to verify part area for masking, cleaning, and coating.Confirm completion of all pre-coating requirements per job folder specifications.Follow in-process inspection procedures to verify operations meet requirements.Record and sign off on applicable data defined in the job folder.Essential SkillsMachine operation in coating, welding, robotic welding, or CNC.Ability to perform setups and changeovers of new products.Ability to program machines to specification.Additional Skills & QualificationsReading blueprints/drawings is a plus.Previous experience as a Spray Technician is a plus.Experience in a production environment capable of learning thermal spray processes.Why Work Here?Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, medical, dental, and vision plans, along with paid holidays and paid time off. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
