Title Title Radiology Technologist (Multiple Openings) – Full Time (80 Hours per pay period) – Bronson LakeView Hospital Location BLH Bronson LakeView Hospital Pay and Bonus Up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time positions (72 hours per pay period or above). Position Summary Performs radiographic examinations of various anatomical parts and systems of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and medical disorders. Key Responsibilities (Summary) Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations and advanced procedures (fluoroscopy, joint injections, lumbar/myelogram). Operate X‑ray, CT, MRI machines and other diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently. Receive, escort, and position patients for examinations; provide instructions and explain procedures. Set up and adjust shielding, immobilization devices, and other supportive equipment. Assist providers with the administration of radiolucent or radiopaque media. Consult with radiologists to clarify orders or unusual findings. Maintain patient and procedural documentation accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sterility of procedure rooms and equipment. Monitor and maintain appropriate supply levels. Report equipment malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting. Provide first aid and respond to adverse reactions to contrast media or other emergencies. Assist in on‑job training of student technologists and other non‑professional assistants (as assigned). Operate computer systems for record‑keeping and data entry. Physical Demands Standing, walking, and light lifting (≤20 lbs); occasional lifting of heavier patients (50 lbs or more). Work may involve mental/visual fatigue from repetitive or detailed tasks for prolonged periods. Qualifications Minimum of one: Certificate of Completion of an accredited hospital‑based radiology program, or an associate’s degree from an accredited radiology technology school. Registered ARRT credential required (or registry eligible and complete a registry within 6 months of hire). BLS training must be successfully completed within 6 months of hire. Ability to operate basic computer programs associated with record keeping in the department. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative within established procedures. Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
