Senior Scheduler, Data Centre Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scheduler to join our dynamic team within the Data Centre sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects. Responsibilities Developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project schedules for data centre construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedules with project goals and timelines. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track. Conducting regular schedule reviews and updates to reflect changes in project scope, resources, or timelines. Preparing and presenting detailed reports, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and project milestones. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company policies in all scheduling activities. Utilizing advanced scheduling software and tools to optimize project planning and execution. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as a scheduler, preferably in the data centre or construction industry. Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path methodology, and resource allocation. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI‑SP (Scheduling Professional) are a plus. Day-to-Day Review and update project schedules to reflect the latest developments and changes. Conduct meetings with project teams to discuss progress, address challenges, and align on priorities. Analyze data to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of project components. Provide guidance and support to junior schedulers and team members.
