Locums Emergency Medicine in Lake Charles, Louisiana - Flexible Scheduling, No Call

Highlights

• PRN structure with up to 5 shifts per month
• Night and swing shifts most needed

Practice & Cases

• Emergency department seeing all ages
• Approximately 140 patients per 24-hour period
• Full scope emergency procedures including airways, lines, and chest tubes
• Trauma exposure as the region's only Level 3 trauma center

Schedule

• PRN scheduling with flexible monthly coverage
• 12-hour weekday shifts and 10-hour weekend shifts
• Consecutive shifts available for traveling physicians
• Nights and swings are the primary coverage need

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• ABEM Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Louisiana license required or active IMLC LOQ
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
