WVUE, FOX 8, is looking for a creative, aggressive, and visual photojournalist to join our award-winning news team. The candidate must be able to work in a highly functioning, experienced, talented newsroom. The candidate must be an excellent photographer and editor for all multi-platform content. Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Responsible for gathering video, sound, and stills for all FOX 8 multimedia platforms Edit video and sound for all multimedia platforms You will be responsible for maintaining assigned gear Operating ENG trucks and bonded cellular live devices (Live U) Post on all FOX 8 digital platforms Use Skype/other mobile live devices Drive a company vehicle and perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: * Minimum 1-2 years of news photography. Flexible work hours required; must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, weekends, and possible overtime hours. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed; writing skills a plus. Must be willing to work in New Orleans, LA.
