Project Manager

Location: in Jackson County, OR | Onsite / Field-Based Compensation: $120,000–$150,000+ DOE About the Opportunity An established commercial general contractor in Southern Oregon is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an opportunity for a proven construction PM to take ownership of major ground-up projects, manage complex project financials, and mentor the next generation of construction professionals. Projects are primarily located throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California, with limited overnight travel and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. What You’ll Do Independently manage commercial construction projects valued at $10M–$30M+ from preconstruction through closeout. Own project budgets, cost forecasting, profitability, schedules, and financial reporting. Manage owner contracts, subcontractor agreements, procurement, and change orders. Build and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6. Oversee ground-up construction projects in education, healthcare, public works, and other commercial sectors. Coordinate with Superintendents, owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Identify risks, resolve problems independently, and protect project profitability. Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and junior PMs. What We’re Looking For 8+ years of construction Project Management experience including independently managing commercial construction projects valued at $10M or more. Ground-up construction experience in education, healthcare, or public-sector projects. Experience with CMAR/CMGC, Design-Build, and Lease-Leaseback project delivery methods. Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, change orders, and subcontractor management. Ability to independently develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6. A leadership mindset with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior team members. $120,000–$150,000+ salary, depending on experience. Company truck and gas card.
