Job Title : Data Center Technician II

Location : Remote (up to 75% travel nationwide)

Position Type : 6-12+ months (potential extension/renewal)

Pay Range : $30-45/hr. (or higher/negotiable based on experience)

Summary :

The Data Center Technician II is an experienced technician responsible for executing and supporting all stages of the infrastructure lifecycle within data center and client environments. This role performs advanced installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting while operating with increased independence.

Responsibilities :

• Install and build data center infrastructure, including: cable tray and ladder rack, structured cabling, fiber and copper cabling, equipment racks and cabinets, and pathways and cable management systems.

• Pull, route, dress, label, and secure cables according to project specifications.

• Assist with rack builds and equipment installation.

• Work from drawings, layouts, and field instructions.

Qualifications :

• 1-5+ years of experience with construction, cabling, electrical, low-voltage, or general technical experience preferred.

• Proven experience in installation, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
