Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency DepartmentThe Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive travel experience to join their dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that handles a large volume of patients.Shift DetailsShift: Day shift, 4x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00)Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per weekEvery other weekend requiredRTO: Maximum of 7 days allowed; blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Key responsibilities include:Providing high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department setting.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Assessing patient needs and implementing appropriate care plans.Monitoring and documenting patient conditions using Epic and other unit systems.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.Completion of at least 3 travel assignments in an ER is preferred.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS are required.Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.Ability and willingness to float within the facility as necessary.Unit InformationThis is a large emergency department with a total of 59 beds, averaging 165-175 patients per day. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, signifying a robust support system for high-quality care.Compliance RequirementsAll candidates must present full compliance to begin their assignment on time.
