Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

RN – Medical-Surgical / TelemetrySchedule36-hour or 48-hour shifts, weekend requirement of at least 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period, and must work 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day).Assignment DetailsMinimum of 13-week assignment. No RTO within the first 2 weeks, maximum RTO of 2 weeks total for assignment.RequirementsActive California RN license required at time of submission.Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry.ACLS and BLS certifications required.Experience with telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring.Prior large-facility experience (400+ beds) preferred for first-time travelers.ResponsibilitiesProvide care for adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.Conduct telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage central lines.Perform assessments and respond to changes in patient conditions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.Compliance / NotesFlu vaccination required; no exemptions. EKG exam to be administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed to continue. Background checks will be conducted.
