Scale Operator (Bilingual English/Spanish)


Southern Fresno Area
Pay $18.00 per hour + OvertimeSchedule

• Monday - Saturday
  
  
• 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  
  
• Frequent overtime required
  
  
• Business casual attire (jeans permitted)

A busy agricultural and transportation-related operation in the Southern Fresno area is seeking a bilingual Scale Operator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced office environment, can multitask effectively, and takes pride in accuracy and customer service.


This position is the hub of daily truck activity and requires someone who can stay organized, communicate professionally, and keep operations moving efficiently throughout the day.


Please Note: Attendance is critical in this role. The client expects employees to be dependable and available for the schedule listed above. Schedule changes are generally not accommodated, and excessive absences may result in separation.
What You'll Be Doing

• Weighing trucks in and out of the facility
  
  
• Verifying customer information, release numbers, and product details
  
  
• Assisting drivers with shipping and receiving paperwork
  
  
• Monitoring truck traffic and load status throughout the facility
  
  
• Tracking loading and unloading times
  
  
• Resolving discrepancies related to orders and releases
  
  
• Managing inventory and data within company software
  
  
• Coordinating railcar releases and ordering activities
  
  
• Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal departments

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual English/Spanish required
  
  
• Minimum 2 years of administrative, logistics, dispatch, transportation, inventory, or office experience
  
  
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  
  
• Professional communication and customer service skills
  
  
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
  
  
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance history

Highly Preferred

• Previous scale house experience
  
  
• Agriculture, feed, grain, transportation, trucking, or logistics industry experience
  
  
• Experience with inventory tracking and shipping documentation
