Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule: Weekend frequency: Every other weekend

Requirements:

• RN licensure (GA or compact multi-state RN license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year OR experience; first-timers accepted
• Familiarity with Epic charting preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist the surgical team with any required tasks during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and recover patients post-operation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the quality of care.
• Maintain sterile techniques and manage surgical instruments.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the electronic health record.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Maximum RTO: 7 days; no RTO requests post-offer/on-site
• Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start
