Job Description:

The site is seeking a Urology professional for coverage starting on June 10, 2026, with ongoing opportunities. The assignment includes UPHS Marquette Urology call coverage, specifically 24-hour call from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. the following day. The physician will provide in-house call support with a response time of within 20 minutes. Typical nightly calls range from 2 to 4, with 1 to 2 calls expected to be handled onsite. Patients per shift are approximately 1 to 5, with an average of 2 to 5 inpatient calls per 24 hours.


Physicians are not required to stay onsite during night or weekend calls but must round and discharge patients. When on call, providers should only be onsite for callback hours, which are expected to be 2 to 4 hours per day, and must document their call-back hours and reasons accurately on their timesheets for verification and audit purposes. The role involves inpatient rounding on new admissions and inpatients needing attention, including procedures such as kidney stones, CBI consults, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements.


Expected onsite time includes 2 to 4 hours of rounding per day with remaining hours on call. Communication and record reviews are handled remotely; onsite call-back hours are documented and verified.


Pay Rate: $1.00/hour
