OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT- FT
Progressive Rehab Solutions Inc.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Provides OT services under supervision of a licensed OT. Assists patients in regaining daily living and independence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out OT treatment plans.
- Instruct patients in adaptive equipment and self-care.
- Document services and report progress to OT.
- Collaborate with therapy and nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from accredited OTA program.
- Current state license.
- Experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs
- Knowledge of OT activities.
- Ability to follow OT instructions.
- Strong communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Lifting, standing, walking, bending.
- Healthcare and LTC facility environment.
