Primary Function In this training position, under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse Preceptor, the Student Nurse Intern will provide care to patients and assist in performing various activities when caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients. The Student Nurse Intern utilizes clinical experience and theoretical knowledge to enhance their learning experience. Responsibilities Maintain skills and competencies required of the Student Nurse Intern position. Comply with customer service requirements. Perform all other job‑related duties as assigned. Maintain and gather supplies to perform job. Job Qualifications and Specifications Current matriculation in a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited Baccalaureate Degree Program in Nursing is preferred. Candidates in an Associate Degree Program will be considered. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the lifespan with consideration of aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. Experience: Nursing students in their senior year of a nursing program, graduating December 2025 - June 2026. All student nurse interns must have a nursing assistant license at time of hire.
