Job Summary The General Manager oversees and manages the assigned Market’s operations and financial teams to ensure the projects, employees, and financials are all running smoothly and according to the company guidelines. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing accurate and timely information to the Leadership team at Congruex. This person has strong, long‑term client relationships, a natural intuition to understand industry trends, professionally handles employee related items, and understands the financials. Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to) Responsible for the entire Market operationally and financially. Effectively communicate valuable and accurate information to Congruex executive leadership. Make strong, strategic moves that produce positive results. Retains general knowledge of People Services acceptable behavior, processes, and procedures. Developed strong client relationships. Seasoned knowledge of the Telecommunication industry trends and how to successfully navigate them. Mentors the Division Managers and Project Managers to become stronger and more effective managers with higher production and profit margins. Understand financial data. Identify and provide solutions to issues relating to both the financial and operational teams. Create initiatives that drive better results. Continually shows company support by following and enforcing all company policies and procedures. Shows positive attitude, works well with his crew, upholds the highest safety measures, and promotes the Congruex culture. Required Skills & Qualifications MBA or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in engineering, telecom or business administration is preferred. 10+ years of job‑related experience. Equivalent combination of education and job experience. Must be efficient with strong attention to detail. Must have strong skills in organization and planning, ability to work independently or in a team, and exercise sound judgement and problem solving. Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present ideas in business‑friendly language. Ability to effectively multi‑task and prioritize to execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment. Must have strong customer support orientation, professional demeanor, and ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Requires ability to influence others, negotiate outcomes, and articulate action plans. Strong coaching and mentoring skills; effective at providing detailed and specific feedback to staff to equip them to meet business goals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Proficient use of computer software programs and related applications, Microsoft Office and other industry‑specific tools. Willingness to learn additional software applications. Physical Demands and Working Environment Ability to sit continuously for over 2/3 of normal work shift. Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch on a regular basis. Ability to talk and to hear continuously. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Finger dexterity required frequently for over 2/3 of the normal work shift. Ability to see at close range, at a distance, identify colors, judge distances and spatial relationships, and adjust the eye to bring objects into focus. Employees work in an office environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature.
